Richard joined IMEX nearly 20 years ago, bringing experience from Haymarket Media Group’s sales divisions in London and New York. Since then, he has worked closely with many leading industry associations and continues to play an active role in shaping the sector. He currently serves as Chair of the MPI Foundation, which provides grants for education, training, and research to event professionals worldwide.

Over the years, Richard has served on MPI’s Global Board of Trustees, held the position of Past President of MPI’s UK and Ireland Chapter, and contributed as a member of the Partner Advisory Board for Destinations International. He also holds the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation and has been recognized as one of MPI’s 50 up-and-comers.
